This week compete.com launched a free competitive web analytics package. Through the site you can also view traffic history similar to Alexa.com with the snapshot tool. Of course the service still requires that visitors to your site use the toolbar in order to log visits.

To clarify, information found on Compete.com is powered by 2M people, which is collected via ISPs, Opt-in panels AND the Compete Toolbar.
