Data released by comScore Networks reveals what we all knew would happen.  Online spending increased another 24% in 2006 to total more than $100B spent in eCommerce.  2006 Also saw a holiday season increase in spending of 26%.  Does anyone still know people who are hesitant to purchase online?  Based on these numbers their can't be many people left.  More information is available at ClickZ

Nothing surprising in the report but a recent ICM survey for the BBC reports that nearly half of the people who do watch video online spend less time watching TV.

In the near future, the BBC, ITV and Channel 4 will distribute most of their shows on demand over the Internet. The on-demand aspect, as Goodman noted, is bound to make the greatest impact in the future.” 

With that statement, how can anyone wonder why Google would want to own the largest on-demand video site.

Have you been noticing an increase in spam levels recently?  I know my spam folder is hit with hundreds a day not to mention the 10 or more penny stock ads I have to delete from my inbox every morning.  Well your not alone.  According to U.S. email security company Postini, 9 out of 10 emails sent worldwide are considered spam.  This number has tripled since June and now represents approximately 7 billion emails per month.
